I have 65 Galaxie Service Manual with wiring diagram in it. But I can hardly know where and how things are connected. I stumbled upon this photo, though bad resolution - see attached. From which manual is this and where to get it? In the Galaxie Service manual they are mentioning "Wiring diagram manual Form 7795P-65". All kind of Blow up diagrams is what I am looking for this car.
I am looking at basicly replacing ALL the car's wiring. Would you suggest going with generic wiring loom? Getting the right color wires seems impossible to get.
Thank you a lot

Hello,
The photo you posted is from the Ford 65-72 Illustrated Parts-1A manual. There are two other manuals that go along with this:
Ford 65-72 Parts Applications-2A
Ford 65-72 Parts Applications-2B
These are in PDF format and are huge files. Many folks have included drop box links to these manuals in the Using Dropbox to Share Manuals section on the front of the main galaxie page here. Some links might be defunct, so you'll have to go through till you hit a good link for these manuals, they can also be usually bought (CD) on E-Bay.
The wiring diagrams in the Service manual isn't all that and a bag of crisps, however there aren't really any better ones in these manuals listed above. They will show where harnesses are run but not discrete connections. As a point of fact, 1966 galaxie's are just a very mildly face lifted '65 galaxie so if you find a better diagram for a '66 it should be the exact same.
Good Luck

I purchased one of these for my '67 and it's been a life saver. It's fairly large (11x17), laminated and has all of the correct wiring in full color. I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but I've found it to be extremely helpful.

P.S. I'm not the seller nor do I know the seller. I just think it's an extremely helpful, well-done item.

I have the 28-page "1965 Ford Wiring Diagram Manual" MP135 from Jim Osborn Reproductions. I love it! $10 on ebay.

Great! I will try to source this.

Here are your wiring diagrams.

Great web site! The Wiring diagrams are the same as in Service Manual for 65 Galaxie which I have.
The problem is there are many connectors missing (NSS and few others are just empty for example) in the car and wires cut. So I have to have a visual orientation what is where.

I will look into this also.
Thanks to all. I appreciate it.

The manual that puttster refers to is listed on ebay as well. There are several listed with prices that vary and not all ship outside of the U.S.
This one seems to have the most pictures so you can see what it contains for reference. This seller doesn't ship anywhere except the States. A few others do, though.

You can probably tell I spend way too much time on ebay.

The Osborn manual has a page for PW controlled from the console and a page for controlled from door, and a page for the 6-way power seat. You really should give it a look.
